Task 1 - Tune In
Applications of ICT can affect the social and economic wellbeing of individuals and societies. Some contemporary issues are listed below:

In this assignment you will contribute collaboratively to an on-line wiki that will discuss a contemporary issue and give your point of view.
For homework you will ech be assigned an issue to read about (Ch 4) and brainstorm then discuss with class.

Task 2 - Find out
1. Select an topic from above.
2. Define one issue you will be investigating?
3. Use an Issues Map (see http://vels.vcaa.vic.edu.au/support/teaching.html#graphic) to identify any legal, social, economic, technological, political, ecological or ethical factors related to the issue.

5. Look for at least 3 articles relevant to to your issue.
6. Identify as many reasons related to the factors about your issue.

Task 3 - Sort through
1.Use a data grid to sort through information in these articles relevant to the questions you defined earlier.
Ensure you completely site references.

Task 4 - Report
  1. Write a summary on this issue taking into account the factors you discussed.

  3. Include a copy of your issue map and summary on your wiki page.
  4. Invite others to discuss contribute to your discussion.
